Michel Reilhac is a narrative architect and long-time transmedia and immersive media pioneer. He is known as a leading international expert for innovation in hybrid storytelling across participatory, interactive and immersive experiences and the VR competition curator for the Venice Biennale International Film Festival. In his keynote “You are entering a new dimension: How VR boosts presence at digital events” Michel Reilhac will explain how VR can be leveraged for sophisticated experiential event design.
What key message(s) do you want to share with this year’s conference community?
Virtual Reality is about to happen big time. It will come with many spectacular enhancements of all aspects of our lives, but also with risks. We need to understand now how we will handle the very disruptive changes of paradigm that the VR culture will bring about.
When VR will fully unfold around us we will experiment changes in our way to be in the world and with each other like never seen before. This will start happening in two to three years from now. The signs of how this will be implemented can already be grasped now.
