Nina Schoenian is CEO of Trafo MediaTech, founded by Sebastian Turner. She started her career at Rhein-Neckarzeitung and worked as an award-winning copywriter and creative director, before she founded and lead the digital transformation unit at taz, die tageszeitung. Before joining Trafo and its mission for a well-informed public, Nina held the position as Director Brand & Development for WWF Germany.
Content Tech – What are the new rules for publishers and their challengers? is the burning question Nina Schoenian will discuss with Peter Kropsch (COB at dpa), Astrid Maier (Editor in chief at Xing) and Anita Zielina (Director Strategic Initiatives at City University of New York) on our Partner Online Stage on November 11.
What key message(s) do you want to share with this year’s conference community?
Tech is just Tech, but each merge of creativity and technology is what pushes us forward.
Our challenge is to implement technology as a key driver for transformation with desirable results.
For us as publishers a way might be to niche, to dig deeper, to specialise. Multiple niches sum up to a whole ecosystem.
What does MediaTech mean to you and how is it relevant to your work?
For me within MediaTech the hidden treasure is content tech. All those technologies that support, enable or keep quality journalism to thrive.
What are you looking forward to most at #mthcon?
Discussions and insights about key drivers for new business models in quality journalism.
And after months of remote conferences there is still another new conference tool to experience.
