At West Virginia University, #mthcon2020 speaker Carlos Toxtli-Hernandez is researching intelligent tools and bots to improve how crowds collaborate, e.g. for online moderation. In the past, he worked at Microsoft Research, Google, Amazon, and the United Nations where he developed innovative tools to empower people through technology.
In the session “Meta-intelligence: What New Business Models Will AI Drive in Entertainment?” Carlos Toxtli-Hernandez and Kemal Görgülü (CTO at ARTE) will point out new forms of experience, platforms and consumer technology that AI and data will drive in film, television and media.
What key message(s) do you want to share with this year’s conference community?
Artificial intelligence can tackle challenging processes on production lines. And: Multichannel audio production can be enhanced by Artificial Intelligence.
What does MediaTech mean to you and how is it relevant to your work?
My goal is to match cutting-edge AI technologies studied in academia with the real needs of the MediaTech industry.
