At MTH Conference, we have a keen interest in connecting pioneers from the entertainment and industry sectors, so the latest inventions in MediaTech become accessible to professionals from all fields of work. As we reveal this year’s lineup, you will get to know some of the MediaTech scenes’ greatest thinkers, makers and shakers who might inspire you to create new innovative and integrative approaches for yourself and your business.
Listen to Oscar Winner Ted Hope
On the Entertainment Stage, we are delighted to feature producer and multiple Oscar winner Ted Hope. In his 35-year film career, he has produced over 70 films, whilst founding a variety of businesses. For a long time, Ted Hope was also in charge of the Creative Division at Amazon Studios. Having launched Amazon's foray into feature film production in January of 2015, Ted Hope has a unique view point on the effect of streaming platforms on independent and international film productions, which he will share with us at #mthcon2021. Motivated by a deep passion for cinema, its history, and recognition of its potential, Ted Hope is also Professor of Practice at ASU’s Thunderbird School, where he is teaching creatives how to lead a life that is both sustainable and generative.
Meet Marjorie Hernandez de Vogelsteller
In 2021, MediaTech Hub Conference will feature Marjorie Hernandez de Vogelsteller, a true pioneer in the digital fashion space. The entrepreneur takes a special interest in the confluence of design and technology. In 2017, Marjorie Hernandez de Vogelsteller co-founded LUKSO, an industry specific blockchain for the fashion and design fields. On the Industry Stage of MTH Conference 2021, she will get to share her ground-breaking vision of widening access to and ownership of Non-Fungible Tokens that simultaneously ensure market scarcity and secure sovereignty for the creators.
Get inspired by Noah Falstein
On our Industry Stage we will have Noah Falstein, bringing to #mthcon2021 a lifetime of invaluable experience in the interface between video games and virtually all other fields of endeavour. The Founder of “The Inspiracy” was one of the first ten employees at Lucasfilm Games and DreamWorks Interactive. He has spent decades creating some of the world’s most iconic games and soon realised that learning through play comes naturally to us all. Since 2000, Noah Falstein has shifted to serious game projects, whilst building a database that combines the 400 most important rules in games design. In his exclusive keynote on the Industry Stage, he will give the audience some uplifting insights into what we can achieve with the combination of MediaTech and human ingenuity.
See the future through the eyes of Michael Cioni
Last but not least, we proudly confirm that MediaTech Hub Conference will be presenting none other than Michael Cioni – one of the industry’s most prominent production and post workflow experts on the Entertainment Stage. Michael Cioni will share his vision for professional cinema workflows, specifically “Camera-to-Cloud“ based approaches, which he has recently implemented into the network of Frame.io, the world’s leading cloud-based video collaboration platform. Frame.io is being used by over 1 million filmmakers and media producers and Adobe has just announced a deal to acquire the platform for $1.275 billion. In his function as Frame.io’s Global Chief Vice President of Innovation, Michael Cioni tackles the overarching functional shift in the industry, by investing strongly into automated camera-to-cutting room technology: “A robust camera-to-cloud approach means filmmakers will have greater access to their work, greater control of their content, and greater speed with which to make key decisions,”* says Michael Cioni.
We look forward to a mind-enhancing knowledge exchange and count on your participation to actively shape the future of the MediaTech sector with us.
