Nina Schoenian is CEO of Trafo MediaTech, founded by Sebastian Turner. Nina started her career at Rhein-Neckarzeitung and worked as a award-winning copywriter and creative director, before she
founded and lead the digital transformation unit at taz, die tageszeitung.
She implemented the voluntary paywall for taz in 2012, which is until today a reliable and growing source of revenue for the independent newspaper. Before joining Trafo and its mission for a
well-informed public, she held the position as Director Brand & Development for WWF Germany.
