Rebekka Garrido is a producer and post supervisor with extensive experience in the film
industry. Her career began in 1998 as a production assistant at Essential Film in Berlin,
where she worked on films by prominent directors such as Ulrich Seidel, Jessica Hauser, Lars
von Trier, and Roy Andersson. In 2002, Rebekka transitioned to become an international
sales agent at The Coproduction Office in Paris, where she gained valuable knowledge and
skills in film distribution and financing.
In 2007, Rebekka co-founded The Post Republic, a Berlin-based post-production house,
where she served as a managing partner until 2014. Her work at The Post Republic allowed
her to further expand her knowledge in the technical aspects of film production. In 2014,
Rebekka founded Manderley Films, a production company based in Berlin. Manderley Films
focuses on producing feature films as well as art and experimental films, and also offers
post-production services for series and feature films.
Throughout her career, Rebekka has co-produced numerous award-winning films.
Rebekka's expertise and industry knowledge have been sought after by various
organizations, including her leadership of the East-West coproduction market in Cottbus
from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, she is teaching at the Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris since 2015, providing mentorship and guidance to aspiring filmmakers. Rebekka has also been invited asan expert
to esteemed film events such as Eave, Midpoint, Sarajevo Cinelink, Meetings on the Bridge, Odessa Film Festival, and the Atelier in Cannes.
